Welcome to the South Carolina Bar Foundation’s Web site! The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the South Carolina Bar.
Our mission is to fund the advancement of justice
by improving access, education and accountability.
- We fund programs that put non-violent dads in
livable wage jobs so that they can pay child support and
re-connect with their children.
- We support non-profits that get
women and their children out of abusive and life threatening
situations.
- We fund initiatives that teach today's youth
about the importance of being a good citizen and how they can
make a positive difference in their communities.
- We help educate low income citizens about their
rights and responsibilities under the law.
- We foster collaboration, communication and
efficient work from those we support.
-
We strive to make sure that
poverty is not a barrier to
justice.
How we accomplish our mission
