We just closed the books on Gala 2010, held Thursday, March 11 at

the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center netting $27,000!

Close to 300 guests enjoyed a seated dinner, dancing and a silent auction

with a wide array of items from hotel stays to sports memorabilia.

Highlights of the evening:

*Honors were presented to the SC Bar's Nifty Fifty Class of 1959 by

Chief Justice Jean Toal.

*Maureen Z. White was named the Ellen Hines Smith Legal Services

Lawyer of the Year.

*Kristen E. Horne and Keri J. Olivetti were named SC Bar Pro Bono

Lawyers of the Year.

*President George M. Hearn Jr. honored Elizabeth Van Doren Gray

as the newest donor in the Liberty Legacy of Justice.
